Our Interview Process

To join the MAKA team, you'll have a series of interviews that are summarized below.

Interview 1: Role Fit

This is an interview with your hiring manager who will delve into your resume / CV to better understand your experiences and how they are aligned with the role you're interviewing for.

Note that you might also meet other team member at MAKA as part of this process - it is an opportunity for you to also get to know the people you will be working with better and ask any questions you might have.

This interview will be primarily "behavioral" - this means answering questions about past projects & challenges you tackled and how you handled them. Here's an example question: Tell me about a time you worked on a project outside your comfort zone.

We recommend using the STAR method to respond to behavioral questions - this allows you to give a structured answer and provides your interviewer with the details they need to understand your experiences. The STAR method is as follows:
